Blue Days

Cat on Blue Car

Some days are blue, there isn’t much you can do about it. Allow the blue to become part of who you are for that day and see the world through those eyes. Each colour will give you a new perspective. See who you are when the day is this colour. Accept that tomorrow may be a different colour. We can be sure of change, because that is life.

Rosy Days

Other days seem a bit more rosy. You walk in the woods and find a wild tulip. Bright colours become more visible to you. They jump out and grab you and you think, wow – what a world this is! Make hay on these days, have fun, and learn about who you are when it all feels so bright. These days won’t last either, that’s not negative, it’s just life. Enjoy rosy days.

Bright days

Bright days sometimes don’t live up to your expectations. Don’t worry about it. Expectations that everything will be good are not always helpful. Remain present, in each moment of brightness be grateful. If that changes then just go with the flow.

Rainbow Days

It is easy to get dazzled by rainbow days, to want them all the time. We create rainbows everywhere to lull ourselves into a belief that life can be this constantly. To walk into a shop and see they have arranged books by rainbow colours, that makes me laugh. I agree it looks nice but it’s not a book buyer’s ideal arrangement! Enjoy the colours but don’t be fooled. Don’t buy into the illusion of rainbow days. When you see a real rainbow you will note how special it is.

The mixed days, where the colours are softer, natural days. They may go up and down a bit. You may observe that you are less overwhelmed by the brightness of it all, or you may see bright colours against a grey sky. It reminds you that life contains everything.

I hope you enjoyed a post of my colourful photographs.

Thank you for reading.
